1982 Land Rover Series
III 109 Right-Hand Drive This 1982 series III truck was recently
imported from England. The truck has a 2.25 5 main bearing engine with a Ducellier distributor, right-hand drive with
Defender high-back bucket seats, 16" rims, Salisbury rear differential, bull-bar, new starter, and an AM/FM CD in-dash
with surface mount speakers in the roof. Some frame repairs were recently made. Mechanically, this '83 is a good
running truck. The brakes are good and the steering is good. Cosmetically, this truck is challenged!
It needs to be stripped and painted. It was originally Masi Red. The body is pretty straight. This would
make a great, early, Camel Trophy replica truck. Some paint and a few accessories and you would be there! It
is the correct vintage for the early series III Camel Trophy. Several thousand dollars have been invested in this truck
to date. Asking price is $5,500.00.
'67 Land Rover Series IIa Left-Hand Drive ** SOLD ** This truck is titled as a 1967 Land Rover
and was built for the English market. This '67 was originally manufactured as a right-hand drive vehicle but has been
professionally converted to left-hand steer. Features include a 1968 dash with a single wiper motor, headlights
on the front wings, Fairey Overdrive, high-back bucket seats, and a 2.25 litre engine with Webber Carb.
The frame is mostly solid but there is minor rust in the rear crossmember as well as some rust in the bulkhead.
Unfortunately, incorrect brake fluid was added to this vehicle and the hydraulic system needs an overhaul. Asking price
is $4,500.
1966 Land Rover Series IIa
88" Right-hand Drive 2.25 Petrol This truck
was imported from the UK about 15 years ago. It has been a good daily driver. Sadly, about 2 years ago, the incorrect
brake fluid was installed. The hydraulic system is gone; no brakes and no clutch. The engine is tired with excessive
blow-by. However, it does run. The transmission and transfer case are good as are the front and rear differentials.
A newer, genuine gas tank was installed by Blue Ridge Rover Works approximately 10 years ago. The bulkhead is rusty.
The frame is ok with some rust, nothing critical. This vehicle is "on the fence." It could be sold as
a total restoration project or a very complete parts car. It could be broken too. Please contact Blue Ridge Rover
Works with any interest. Asking $1,800.00 but any reasonable offer will be considered.
